What sender data we collect
When someone creates an invite, we collect the sender email address and, if provided, the sender name.
We use this to create the invite, send dashboard access links, send payment-related updates, and notify the sender when a recipient clicks Yes.
What recipient data we collect
For each recipient, we may collect a name, email address, phone number, delivery method, RSVP token, open status, response status, and response timestamp.
Recipient name, email, and phone are optional depending on the delivery method selected by the sender.
Why email and phone data is used
Email addresses are used to send RSVP links and response notifications. Phone numbers are used only when SMS delivery is selected and configured.
Senders must confirm they have permission to contact recipients before creating an invite.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We store payment status, amount, currency, quantity, and Stripe checkout/payment identifiers so we can activate paid RSVP links.
Please Say Yes does not store card numbers, CVC codes, or full card details.
Deletion requests
A sender or recipient can request deletion of personal data by contacting us. We may need enough information to locate the relevant invite or RSVP link.
